Mr. Jackson is the former President and CEO of First Security Commercial Mortgage and First Security Investor Reporting. In those two capacities Mr. Jackson has funded over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans and has provided services on close to $0.5 trillion of securitized product including abs, mbs and cmbs. Mr. Jackson is an innovator, solving issues in commercial real estate financing with new and evolving commercial loan programs. He began his career in 1981 as an auditor in Cape Town, South Africa. In 1985 he moved to the USA and joined the firm of Altschuler Melvoin and Glasser. Within the firm, Mr. Jackson created a consulting unit to address the newly formed securitization marketplace for multi-class residential offerings. Mr. Jackson secured major national banks as clients, and then spun this out as a multimillion dollar firm called First Security Investor Reporting.  At the same time Mr. Jackson secured consulting work for the RTC related to the management and disposition of S&L assets, including the securing of a $1.2 billion asset managment contract for commercial loans. Mr. Jackson combined his experience with securitization and the management of commercial mortgage debt to conceptialize, and in 1993, to found one of the first commercial mortgage conduit operations -  First Security Commercial Mortgage (FSCM).  Over the course of the next few years FSCM became a leader nationally in lending to niche markets which, combined with main stream commercial mortgage lending, resulted in a $600 million annual direct lending operation.
